I haven’t read the whole post or all of the comments, but it did seem like Shitsy was pulling out too many close wins for an extended stretch. Some of the commenters replied that he may be clutch as opposed to lucky, but the poster claims that historically the idea of being clutch is mostly a myth, which I tend to agree with.


Interesting. I'm going to tackle this when I'm less baked.

The last time someone made a big deal out of a player outperforming his stats was when Grigor was #3 in the world.

We know how that turned out... so there could be some truth to the idea.
