Quake II RTX remaster

Was wondering how smooth it is, and if there was a good video card to get for it.
I currently have a 1050 ti so that won't handle it

I downloaded it last night. I have a 2070 and it's bit choppy but stays at a consistent 40 FPS. Then again, I'm playing it at 2k resolution.
