So what do y'all think about the aggressive approach this inning?

Twannie and Cabrera saw 3 or 4 pitches total over the plate and made quality swings. Who wants to complain about the results?

Our best hitters got back-to-back seeing eye singles.
Let's not stark sucking each others' dicks yet.

Swing at strikes, make good contact. Do that, I don't care whether you're patient or aggressive. The problem is when you're aggressive swinging at bad pitches and making soft contact.

Another hit on the 2nd pitch. Whats that 6 total this inning?

Exactly my point. But there are a lot of posters here that think if you are swinging early in the count you aren't having good ABs

It works, when it’s not hughes

That’s always been the approach under Mainieri. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn’t. Most of the time it pays off though

Because when we struggle, it's often because we're swinging early and not making good contact, allowing someone like Josh Lewis to go 6+.

You aren't always going to make good contact. You take good swings at pitches over the plate and good things will happen
