He’s also the best player of his generation, no question
That’s debatable.
quote:
There’s a reason I said completely recognized.
Fans are more biased than media...but important ones such as Rachel, Zach, Ryen, etc...have all acknowledged he’s the best player in basketball among others
quote:
Just a straight up lie. This is the first season people can definitively say Durant was better. quote: He’ll have maybe two more years as the man, He’s had 0 years as the man, and he won’t have any going forward.
He’s had 2 years as the man, best player, most valuable player on one of the best teams ever. That’s not in question except by detractors-LeFans.
quote:
So you think Durant is better than Jordan too?
Weird that you’re bringing up Jordan, but it’s possible that Durant can pass Jordan, but his reign would have to continue for 5 years & the haters would have to submit.
It’s far more likely not happening. 5 years from now he’ll be 35-36.
Giannis will be 28 and likely the dominant force.
Kawhi 32ish
Davis early 30s
Simmons, Embiid in prime.
Zion would be 25.
The 3 best players this year are Durant, Giannis and Kawhi.
Kawhi could have an interesting arc if he gets to the finals.
I’ve also said, repeatedly, that if Giannis takes the NBA’s triple crown this year-very much in play especially with Durant’s injury, he’s unquestionably the best player in the NBA at that point.

That’s debatable.
Except it isn’t. Only people obsessed with hating him, like yourself, would say otherwise.

Fans are more biased than media
There are plenty of media members saying the exact same thing.

but important ones such as Rachel, Zach, Ryen, etc
What makes them important exactly?
quote:
He’s had 2 years as the man, best player, most valuable player on one of the best teams ever.
There is legitimate debate going on right now on whether his team is better without him playing.
quote:
That’s not in question except by detractors-LeFans.
Let’s play a game. When I’m back on a computer, I’ll post links to player rankings from before this season started. You do the same.
quote:
Weird that you’re bringing up Jordan
Almost as weird as you insisting people like a player because of his shoes.
quote:
but it’s possible that Durant can pass Jordan, but his reign would have to continue for 5 years & the haters would have to submit.
And this is how we know you’re not to be taken seriously.
quote:
The 3 best players this year are Durant, Giannis and Kawhi.
If you say Giannis then you’re emphasizing regular season, so add harden.
If you say kawhi you’re emphasizing playoffs, so add curry.
The real takeaway here is that this is the first year its indisputable that Lebron isn’t the best player in the league. And as a result, there are a number of players competing for that distinction, but no clear winner. So as I’ve been saying, Durant has never been completely recognized as the best player in the league. And likely never will be.
