AD’s durability is severely overstated. He’s played in 75 games in 2 of the last 3 seasons, one of those we shut him down in the last 3 cause we were out of the playoffs. In 17-18, he missed one game in the second half of the season when we needed him.

Nobody questioned his leadership until last year, especially not around May a year ago. He fell in with the wrong crowd and had the wrong people in his ear, and our organization was such a shitshow we had no way to combat it. Dell friggin Demps and Mickey Loomis stand no chance against Lebron and Rich Paul.

I’m not excusing what he did, but this is a player that people still think has the talent to be a top 3 player in the game (I think Giannis stole the likely “future throne” crown from him though people were saying it might be AD post Lebron as recent as last year). He’s already a top 10 player in the game. We’ve got our shite together. We’ve got a Jrue Holiday that understands he needs to be more of a leader for these guys, and we’ve got a bonafide physical monster coming in with a great head on his shoulders.

I get people are emotional. I don’t like AD myself right now and I’m honestly just fine with whatever he decides so we can just move the frick on from this crap. The obvious best case, no brainer, no debate for this franchise though is AD staying.

You never trade a dollar for 4 quarters in the NBA and you’re damn lucky if you even get 4 quarters.

Yaaaas queen. Could not agree anymore with everything you just said
