Between my sister and I we have 5 boys (and 1 girl). Our dad did something similar and bought each one of them a S&W Model 66 stainless combat magnum 2.5 inch, all older models but in great shape.
I thought it was a really cool touch that linked them with grandpa. Definitely going to be passed down for generations.
