Wade was being investigated by the FBI.

Wade was not under "investigation"...

Wade decided not to meet with LSU.

Wade was advised by his lawyer to not meet with LSU. LSU asked to meet with Wade which he agreed to... Then LSU canceled that meeting and scheduled another meeting that included NCAA representative and others which were not part of the original meeting. Wade asked to be provided with questions in advance (if I recall correctly) and Wade asked if his lawyer could be included in the meeting. The administration said no to Wades requests at which point Wade's lawyer advised against the meeting...

For the record I have stated all along that anyone regardless of their innocence or guilt would be an idiot to go into a meeting like that without their lawyer..

Alleva did the right thing in suspending the coach who is under FBI investigation before the sport's biggest tournament as a precaution. Any school would have done the same.

Alleva and King created this situation by overreacting to an old news report rehashed by a hack/headline/click-bait type of Yahoo article. Leadership at LSU should be better than this...
