Look at VRBO or Perdido Realty. Prices not that good IMO. Fees and taxes almost double the rate . . . .

You're going to pay a pretty penny. Just had someone scoff at over $600 for a weekend at the end of July for my place. They came back with hat in hand after trying to book a hotel and it would have cost them close to $1k
ETA: I have Saturday night, all day Sunday, and all day Monday available

I ve been doing some browsing too, and I've noticed that CLEANING FEES are almost as much as the nightly rate!

I deduce info from VRBO and AirBNB and try to book the place outside of their platform with the added fees removed.

You're going to pay ay least 25 per night for resort fees at the hotel. Taxes are what they are anywhere. The thing condos have over hotels is that you have a full kitchen. You can save money bu buying cereal and cold cuts for breakfast and lunch. Can even cook dinner as well.

And you have room for 4, 6 or more people, Just a family of 4 in a single hotel room is pretty miserable at the beach.

I feel like a time share pitch is about to break out in here.

No, I just come across people complaining about some of the fees a lot. If you wanted to stay one night it probably isn't worth it. Three or more nights and a condo is the way to go imo. You can save money in the ways I mentioned. Also, you don't want to have to pack up and leave the beach every time you want to eat, especially with kids. You have a full kitchen at your disposal.
