I'm looking forward to a trip to Oman later this year, supposed to be the safest country in the Middle East.
Years ago I visited Pakistan a few times and enjoyed it, but I have no desire to return. It really makes you appreciate what we have in the US.
India is a bit daunting but I may add a few days there to the Oman trip.
There are almost no places that I don't want to visit. Repressive regimes and legitimately risky locations are the exception. Most places are not nearly as dangerous as people think.
