It’s funny you say that because I always felt Cleveland was “seasonal” like summer months and warmer spring/ fall months are the only acceptable time to visit but also downtown can either be dead or very busy depending on who’s playing. For example in spring ‘16 I’ve never seen it so busy when you have the Cavs in the playoffs and the Indians just starting their season.

Right I should have clarified. If there is a Browns/Indians/Cavs game, downtown will be more lively since all of the venues are in close proximity in that area.

But yeah OP, as others have said, I also recommend an Indians game if one is happening.
