It's great to be back from ban-land. Quick shout out to LaBR4, ThePTExperience1969, tigerbait2010, and many others who have relayed my messages and pushed for my rightful reinstatement. brothers

I apologize for the long post, but there's much to be addressed.

Let me start off by saying that the team is in great spirits. They had decided as a team to stay hopeful that Coach Wade would rejoin them until Tuesday night. I spoke with several guys after the team meeting last night, and they have put the coaching situation in the rearview. From here on out, it's all business. These guys are extremely close and have more to play for than ever: the Sims family, Coach Wade, the state of Louisiana, and each other. The guys are fully embracing the "Public Enemy #1" mantra. They know what the "experts" (and i use that term very loosely) are saying. They see the hate and hypocrisy from the media mob and will use it as fuel to make a deep run. I sense an extreme focus, reinforced after the recent loss to UF.

On the Coach Wade front, nothing much has changed. Wade has had a little contact with the team, and as reported, has spoken with Bedford about the Yale game. Coach Wade will stay in BR this weekend. I have not spoken to him directly since a couple days after the news broke, but I know one thing for certain: Will Wade has every intention to be the head basketball coach at LSU going forward. Let me reiterate this: the man is not going down without a fight.

Wade has been in contact with several big money TAF guys, including RL and others. They have also been in contact with the governor, who is playing nice, but many question his true intentions and loyalty.

The leadership situation is worse than many of you even understand. JW and F King are in complete and total denial. Want proof? Call FKA's office. Call Alleva's office. They think the fans support what they are doing. I've had multiple people tell me that FKA's and Alleva's offices are arguing with anyone calling in to show support for Wade. I've been told they claim to be receiving hundreds of calls in support of the suspension and the way things have been handled.
Some on here have hinted that Alleva has no control over the situation and is being given marching orders from JW and FKA. This is true, but Alleva is far from without blame. By the time he started to come to his senses, it was too late.

On a more positive note, I had posted here about the plans for the Sims' family to join the team in cutting down the nets, and what a wonderful moment that was. They had that in the plans for a couple weeks leading up to the Vandy game, and the idea came directly from Coach Wade and Skylar Mays. Which leads me to my next few points....

Coach Will Wade just simply gets it. His plan for LSU basketball is like nothing before. There were "Saban" whispers in the athletic department when he first arrived at LSU, and I can guarantee they are not just whispers.

The attention to detail is unparalleled. That has been the thing I've been most impressed with, and the players echo that sentiment. He understands all facets: marketing, building a program, motivating and energizing the players and the fanbase, recruiting. As someone said earlier, players want to play for him, fans want to cheer for him. He's young, ambitious, smart, detail-oriented, and confident. There is not a coach in NCAA basketball I would take over Frank Williams Wade.

Boot Up, making LSU basketball Louisiana-centric, bringing back old school gear, the updated uniforms, the cow palace, etc, I could go on forever. All of these are ideas originating from Will Wade himself. He had put support staff around him to make sure these type of things set the foundation for LSU basketball for the next decade.

I had PTExperience relay the info regarding the Dunking Tiger logo. Wade has every intention of bringing the magic back, and he understands the marketing involved. The LSU creative team does a tremendous job, and we will see more great things from them soon. As of now, most of that gear is not available to the public, but it is in the plans in the future.

If this administration fires Coach Wade, it will be one of the single biggest mistakes LSU has ever made in athletics.

Will Wade will be an absolute legend if he survives this. I'm with him. Are you?

BOOT UP! Let's ride!
