It would take 2 teams to pass up the Knicks and even then I would gladly take Barrett/Morant(whoevers left )plus some combo of Knox/Robinson/DSJ and picks over a lakers offer
And the Knicks WILL trade Zion for AD don't kid yourself as Wiggins was traded for Kevin Love

Knicks pick falling to 2 or 3 would be fine, Barrett and Morant are centerpiece prospects like you said. But it's a very realistic probablity their pick could fall to 4 or 5. Then their best offer is: Reddish or Culver, plus 'meh' prospects like Knox, DSJ, Robinson, all of which LeVert has proven to be a more impactful player at this point, and probably Allen, too.
It's possible Knicks could trade Zion for AD if they get the top pick. But there are scenarios where they would rather keep Zion, like if Zion dominates in March Madness and/or they miss out on signing big name players like KD or Kyrie. Zion is considered a generational talent. Wiggins was the default top pick of a weak draft class, even at the same stages, Zion is a much better prospect than Wiggins was.
