The red head who did the Cyndi Lauper song is really good. No idea who the woman is that sang with him but her voice gives me chills it's so good.

Laci is pretty good. although country isn't my thing. She has the look.

Red head harry potter sings good but looks so awkward on stage.

I must be missing something with the whole Alejandro thing. maybe it's the style of music or maybe his performing style. i just don't get it.

weather screwed up a few performances. i'll have to go back and watch online.

Damn dude we said the same thing!

We were posting about past iconic performances on Idol and we’ll remember that one with the best of them.

The woman apparently won the Tony Award for The Color Purple. She should be a star going forward because she is incredible.

Jeremiah as well.

Oftentimes the contestants are sort of upstaged when they do these celebrity duets but Jeremiah held his own and I honestly thought Alejandro was kind of held back by Ben Harper, if you can believe it.

I feel like he could have done some cooler things with that song but instead he followed Harper’s lead and just sat there and reeled off a perfect vocal. I’d been so enamored with his guitar playing that I hadn’t really focused on his vocals as much but man that was pretty flawless imo.

Evelyn (Chris Isaac), Ashley Hess, and Laci Kay are my favorite girls. They all really showed up on the big stage.

The biggest surprise to me was Demetrius. I wasn’t a fan of his in auditions or even Hollywood week, but in Hawaii and now this week he has really made a ton of improvement.

Seeing as how he is an older guy that comes from a really rough background in the gritty streets of Baltimore, I imagine he never really had much training. But after just a couple of months of working with the coaches on Idol he’s grown tremendously.

He will have a tough road because his style will likely be competing for votes against Jeremiah and Uche, both powerhouses, but I’m going to be excited to watch how he continues to improve.

Only one that bothered me making it through was Eddie Island. Dude is just annoying and honestly can’t hold a candle to this group.

I would have preferred Logan make it through.

Other than that, outstanding group of finalists
