Anyone ever play “The Long Dark”?

And what was your longest survival time? Which difficulty level?
My best was 45 days (Stalker), got caught in a hellish blizzard late in the evening heading back to Trappers Cabin from the lake with a load of fish and wolves jumped me. Barely survived the wolves, but got turned around, lost my sense of direction and ended up freezing to death.

I have it, but I haven't played it.
I have a tough time playing a survival game that always ends with death.
If I could actually finally build myself a sustainable life, then I could dive in, even if hard. It's the "you gonna die" aspect that keeps me from playing.
I'm sure I'll hit it up at some point when I've got nothing else going.

I really dig This War of Mine, however dark and depressing it is at times. I haven't played with the kids, yet.

i got to the point where i would never die, think i finally quit after getting through like 250+ days. was on 2nd hardest difficulty tho
