It's a little early, but isn't going to hurt. Especially if you didn't pre-emerge late fall. The few broadleaves I have will get Trimec for now. I save the metsulfuron (topshot) for battling the buttonweed down the stretch.

I'd say it's the perfect time to spray pre emergent if that's what you meant. Soil temps been above 55 for a couple weeks now. If you mean post emergent then its kinda early but I sprayed a couple days ago cuz I'm impatient. I'll probably end up having to spray again in another couple weeks

I meant to spray as pre emerg in the fall but didnt get around to it. Buttonweed is my primary target. Gettin some weed growth now
