I literally gave you an example of a major need that is not being met. But yeah economics and stuff. This is the same dumbass conversation that went way over y'all's heads where y'all accused me of leaving economics out. The truth was, just like you were doing now, people just kept saying "economics man."

Point is that free market libertarianism or unregulated free markets don't solve everything. I know you guys feel like it's a slippery slope to be asked to pay for things but if you want to live in a society sometimes majority rules on certain things. When the majority doesn't want health care for people who can't afford it to be ignored, a vote in favor of taxes to pay for it.

Of course there's a whole side conversation in which we could discuss how the majority doesn't always win elections LOL. But from where I'm sitting it looks like most Republicans are okay with offshore corporate tax evasion and giving the military industrial complex excessive amounts of money, but not helping its own citizens.
