I had a flip phone and the same battery for 9 years. Most folks I know switched phones about 5 times during that span. It served the purpose I needed it for.
Other folks I know are always running to ATM's and wasting money that way as well. Most folks have no idea how much money they waste every month. It all adds up over time.
Easiest way to see what you're wasting is to make up a spreadsheet for all your expenses and track them by month and year.
