Local news article mentioned something about this facility being in some sort of trouble in the past.
The assault was bad enough and I hope this guy gets what is coming to him.
How she went nine months with no one noticing she was pregnant is unbelievable. Obviously this facility has some serious issues from security to their level of care.

without any prenatal care or nutrition and being on meds I can see this being possible, since we dont know the birth weight of the baby. The thing I question is what effects being bed ridden has on the menstrual cycle of a fertile female. Obviously if she's ovulating then there has to be some sort of period, but being bed ridden for that length of time has probably caused some pretty severe muscle atrophy, maybe enough to the point that she was just spotting instead of a full period? I dont understand why they werent tracking those, and if they were how they didnt get alarmed over the fact that she hadn't had one in nine months, even if there was no reason to suspect pregnancy they should have at least gotten her a consult with a gyno for the missed periods.
It's an incredibly horrible thing that he did this to her, but it also seems to shed some light on some patient neglect that was happening as well, which is probably why these individuals are jumping ship so quickly.
does leaving the company leave them more venerable to malpractice suits than they would have been had they stayed and been umbrella'd under the corporation, which will obviously being getting sued before its over?

Every a number of women first learn they are pregnant when they show up at the ER in pain, and find out they are in labor. These women have had irregular menstrual cycles, and only gained a small amount of weight which they attributed to other things. A quick Google search returned half a dozen in 2018.
