I highly highly suggest any couple in their 30s that thinks this to at least get their fertility status checked out at a fertility clinic. That way you at least know if there is something that will be an obstacle later on. Once you have to resort to fertility treatments....the odds get stacked against you the older the woman is.

Let my experience be a cautionary tale to others. I wish I would have done the same thing when I first got married. Would have changed a lot of decisions we made then.

In a few months I’ll either be finally pregnant after 5 years of trying or forever done with trying for a child. When I was 30 I would have never guessed this is where I would be at 40.

Don’t take your fertility for granted.
