Maybe they are more relaxed and accepting not to hassle or ridicule, but that's not necessarily a bad trait.
My 17 year old daughter is very conservative, very entrepreneurial, very spiritual in her Christian faith and so are most kids she hangs with. I've asked if she has any gender confused kids at school or gay kids and she says "yes, but that everyone pretty much ignores them, unless they're in drama, where pretty much everyone is gay."
I'm not worried.
