Mike Slive is a Dartmouth alumnus for undergrad, a UVA law grad, and has a Masters from Georgetown. He's from Utica, New York. I don't know how he could be anything further from an Alabama alum. He had 0 connections to Alabama or the southeast United States before he was hired as commissioner of the SEC in 2002.

Yes, I'm well aware of where the SEC Commissioners have graduated from. Thanks!

PS - LSU finally got a piece of the pie I am referring to the past couple of years. LSU then didn't help themselves by hiring that moron Orgeron. LSU shot itself in the foot and will continue to pay the price for that.
