A&M was out of timeouts. You don't throw the ball there. You run the clock and figure your defense can keep A&M from going 75 yards with 0 timeouts to score a TD.

O, I guess, should have also known known that a game-winning interception would be wiped out by a very questionable replay call.

We get it. You hate O. Go root for Bama if you're so damn miserable.

I actually agree, and I’m not an O or E apologist. LSU had worn on their defense and actually had success runnng the ball on them the previous two drives. It was conservative, but that’s what most coaches would do in the same spot without a QB like Tua. An RPO with Burrow on the edge may have been a better call. He could have thrown it if it was open or try to pick it up himself, which he was very effective at vs A&M.

Let me ask you this. Since he was brought up, do you think Saban throws it in the same situation with Hurts playing QB? He would have let Hurts run the ball.
