For those actually interested in the economic story behind this...
As interest rates and the perception of FED movements towards tightening increase so does the dollar.
As the dollar increases our ability to buy foreign goods increases, our ability to sell in the world market decreases.
This is the primary fact driving this trend with the monthly fluctuations also being explained by one-off industry scenarios (e.g. Boeing in August).
If you're getting this information from an economic based site you're hearing this. If you're getting it from a political driven site ORANGE MAN BAD.
