The more of these mass shootings that occur sooner or later public opinion is going to turn. Thugs can shoot each other all day long in shitholes like south side of Chicago and no one really cares, not even liberals. When you have people getting shot up in schools, concerts, and bars, that is when people will turn on the issue.
I don't know what the answer is but if these things continue, eventually the public will demand something be done whether its good policy or not.
