If your theory was correct, the LSU defensive back would have been thrown out of the game in the first quarter for what was clearly targeting. The targeting against White was crap and wrong but that play on the TD was text book definition of targeting.

Did you not see the play? All I’m sayin is, why wasn’t the correct call made? It very much looked like a bail out no call based on how it played out. The whole REC thing may be true, and it may not be but there’s no excuse for how that fumble played out. There’s no justifying it and it does look “fishy” per say.
