Exactly, things like this do happen.

We also have this problem in our neighborhood as well with cars flying by. I usually have my oldest son out there (16) too old to trick or treat. Flagging the speeders down and kindly asking them to keep it at a reasonable pace. I would do it myself but I’m busy at the door handing out candy

Yeah, I'm not having my son flagging down random cars to gripe at them. Too many crazies around for that.

Just give the "peasants" from other neighborhoods one piece each and be done with it.

Oh and pour yourself a stiff one while you sit on the porch.
