The legal option would basically be the same thing the player from Hahnville did. File an injunction and say that Devin White having to sit out the biggest game of his career which provides him the most exposure to scouts hurts his draft stock for the future. This could potentially allow him to play against BAMA but could still maybe have to serve his suspension in a future game.

this is what I was thinking of. Rice seems like a good team to sit out for.
Not sure why folks dont like the idea. It's obviously a botched call and the NCAA/SEC have clinched up hard. Seems like a perfect scenario for a legal remedy

Maybe they are waiting until late next week to file so the SEC / NCAA don't have time to take any counter actions?

I’ve been thinking an injunction also. I feel like the SEC is holding him illegally against his own will out of a very relevant game . At least it would buy some time and let him sit out at a different game .
