I visited KS in fall '74 and fall '75. It wasn't bad, just claustrophobic, but it had a great view. Then I stayed in Hatcher at the end of a spring semester. Hatcher was nice and had a/c. But it was so enclosed.

Pentagon was the nicest because of the trees in the courtyard and the separate entrances . One room that I stayed in was painted a dark purple. Very sleep inducing. In the '70's they let you paint your rooms. One guy painted his room a pale pink. WTF was he thinking?

In the 70's, Kirby Smith was the most expensive men's dorm. East Stadium was the cheapest. I think it was $98 per semester. West stadium was $108 in the fall of 1973..
