Look man, I'm trying to understand. I just dont see how this relates to oppression.

How does your white grandfather who chose to drink and act an arse to the point the Klan had to straighten him out relate to racial oppression (real/fictious).

Because saying that shitty hands are dealt to everyone sometimes is a different story than the one in your OP.

Also, wouldn't your grandfather drinking be self inflicted? I'm still not seeing the oppression angle.
