I am going to go with the Float Ride Run Fast for my marathon this fall. I wanted a shoe that has the sole of the Vaporfly but no carbon plate. Nike refuses to make that shoe so Reebok it is.
I will review in the future for all you other baws that want a fast pepax shoe without the dumb plate hurting your feet and heels. Peace! BRM

Closest shoe to a Vaporfly w/o carbon plate would have to be the Pegasus Turbo, right? I tried a pair on last weekend but found the fit to be a bit loose compared to the Flyknit uppers, was not a fan.
I went to Fleet Feet in Metairie yesterday just bc I was curious about the foot scan thing. Ended up grabbing some Brooks Adrenaline GTS 19’s to replace my Mizuno Wave Inspire 15’s for everyday training. Did a short run yesterday and they seem great. I didn’t have issues, but am a bit cautious with the sizing. The scan showed my left at size 8.5 and right at size 9...narrow heel, average width, medium to high arches, slight pronation on the left. Lately I’ve been buying 8.5’s in all of my shoes but they fit me into 9.5’s. They do seem big, but they were adamant that it’s the correct fit for a running shoe. Like I said, I had 0 issues or discomfort on my run, so guess I’ll keep at it. Just hoping the Zoom Fly’s don’t kill my feet bc the fit is much more snug...though I typically prefer that.
