Do you people really believe that someone on Beto's campaign that supports him would send out a text blast to tons of people that encourages people to help others commit a felony?
How many people did 'Patsy' send the text to?

I don't support him but you are a fool if you think a candidate would expose himself like that.
Who is claiming Beta was directly involved?

The odds of someone doing this are about as good as someone faking it.

Shouldn’t it be pretty straightforward to find the sender? As a criminal act was mentioned shouldn’t the police be able to investigate?

Obviously a lot since the message was sent to the media.

Many on here are implying that they don't believe his response.

I don't think the odds of someone doing this are slim to none compared to someone did this to try to take down Beto. I don't know anything about this "Patsy" person. But there are many scenarios that could have happened. If she sent the message from her phone, maybe her phone was hacked / stolen? If the message was sent from some intranet on Beto's campaign, maybe somebody gained access and sent the text? Maybe Patsy doesn't like Beto? Those are much more likely than somebody trying to get illegals to vote by sending a mass text message, which obviously would get to the media since it encourages others to commit felonies.
