Bump

Junior is tearing it up this year. I watched him against Thibodaux last Friday and he is one tough son of a bitch. He got smoked on a screen pass and stayed down for a while, went to the sideline, threw up, put on his helmet and went back in on the next play. I can't believe they didn't put him in concussion protocol. I believe that was in the second quarter when he only had about 40 yards rushing. He lit it up and ended with over 200 yards.
I can't believe Nicholls hasn't offered him yet.

In the mid-1990s, Deon Jenkins Sr. was a standout receiver and kick returner at Central Lafourche High School. Today his son, Deon Jenkins Jr., is following in his father’s footsteps as a star running back for the Trojans. It has helped the Jenkins name become legendary in the Central Lafourche community over the years. Deon Jr., who is one of the state’s top running backs with 924 yards and 18 touchdowns in four games this season, said he has heard many stories from area football fans about his father’s accomplishments over the years.

Coached against him this year. He’s not bad, but definitely not pooka level. He follows his blocks well, but just isn’t super explosive
