We were never going to beat Texas. That's where Herman wanted to go.

So the only option was a proven loser as a HC? Nothing about hiring Orgeron makes sense. We fire Miles to improve the offense, yet hire a journeyman DL coach who has no idea how to coach offense.

Alleva didn't even try to beat Texas. That's what's frustrating. Even if Texas beat him out he could have at least looked at other coaches. He knew what we had with Orgeron and knew he wasn't going anywhere. Why not at least interview a few other coaches and actually conduct a search? I understand if you don't end up with a homer hire but my 10 year old niece could have found a better coach than Orgeron.

My only questions are:
Can Orgeron be fired this year?
How many losses will it take?
