I agree. Mine was this way and it led to infidelity with a person 15 years younger. But divorce was imminent before all that. People in these situations either live miserably feeling alone although technically with someone or they go out and find someone to fill the need. It’s unfortunate all the way around. These relationships losing the intimacy over time are all too common

This is by no means an excuse for infidelity but people change and long term relationships can turn into a long term roommates. You just have to man up and he honest with other person and talk openly about your needs.
