Daycare Recommendations in Baton Rouge

My childcare two days/week fell through so I am on the hunt for a daycare starting the week of August 27 for a 3-month-old baby. I will only need care for those 2 days every week 8:30a-5:30p. A lot of good daycares in BR only allow children to come full-time 5 days/week. The other problem we've run into is the insanely long waitlists.
Does anyone have any daycares they would recommend that allow partial weeks? We are open to in-home daycares as well, but those are all word of mouth, so I was hoping some of you would know of one. We are looking in the Mid-City area and the Kenilworth/Perkins area.
Also, anyone got any tips on navigating these waitlists? How likely is it really for a kid to get in within 2 years time if the director says there is a 1yr+ wait time?

Even if you get in you will be paying for full price (weekly rate). Probably best to find a nanny.
