Are you serious? This kid is in your backyard. Grew up in BR. If he can't bring him in then CEO should call it quits.

A monkey could have recruited this kid to LSU, oh wait.

Landon Collins, Joe McKnight, Tim Williams, Speedy Noll, Cam Robinson, DeVonta Smith, et al all send their regards to Les Miles.

Devonta Smith signed with Alabama (2017 class) while o was the man in charge. Some of you guys like to give o credit for landing Brennan and Narcisse (both were verbal commits under Miles) and want to give him just as much credit for the 2017 class as Miles, but blame Miles for top Louisiana recruits going elsewhere, after he's been fired.

And you have 5 other names besides Devonta Smith in your post of LA. recruits that Miles missed on. But here's a list of kids that o missed on in just one year. This is from the 247 site of top Louisiana recruits.

DeVonta Smith, signed with Alabama
Christopher Allen, signed with Alabama
Keytaon Thompson, signed with Mississippi State
Brad Stewart, signed with Florida
Phidarian Mathis, signed with Alabama
Travis Etienne, signed with Clemson
Justin Harris, signed with Baylor

These are the kids that were ranked in the top ten last year. O missed out on 7 of the top ten. Going back to the 2014 class, Miles landed 5, 6 and 9 players in the top ten.

Without going back any further, I doubt Miles ever had a year where he didn't land at least 5 out of the top ten in the state.
