TDFreak, I do agree with you on this point. I've been in contact with hundreds, if not thousands of homeless, over the past 29 years in my profession. The vast majority do not take advantage of the things available to them, because they are not allowed to be there while under the influence of...anything. Most just choose the street.

That being said, there are some who already lost everything, are genuinely having the worst time of their life, and would give almost anything to improve their situation.

It is a blight, but my point is simply that destroying or ruining everything someone has is not the way to go. I see and understand the viewpoints of most people here, but respectfully disagree about the way this was done.
