Cajun, I think the take home point from all this is we are talking about student athletes. Committing crimes and using illegal drugs like they overslept for a class. Seems like cfb has a bigger problem in the grand scheme of things

True.
What he did was trying to cheat the system. He only poured it out because he was caught. Had the drug testing person not looked his way, he WOULD have used it. He was smart enough to know what he was doing.
The end result was he “attempted” to cheat. He ended up using his urine and passing the test.
He served enough time for what he “attempted” to do. I think he learned a huge lesson.
The NCAA has serious issues within themselves. They should back off on trying to intentionally ruin a student athlete’s career.
They’re far from perfect to be dropping hammers the way they do.
