The dad is obviously scared of physical confrontation and the kid knows it so he uses the threat to bully his parents. Dad needs to hit the gym, or take some jiu jitsu classes, or whatever he needs to do to get his confidence back and whip his son's arse. Then take all of his stuff and let him know that he'll get it back when he gets his shite together. If he doesn't like it, he's welcome to go for round 2.
