The teenage daughter of my family member was kidnapped a few years ago in Louisiana. He took her, raped her and stuffed her in the trunk. There was no trunk release so she started pulling the wires for the back lights trying to find a way to alert someone.

A cop saw that a back light were not functioning and pulled the car over and she was rescued. This sounds like an urban story that old women post on FB. But it happened in the hammond area. The young girl (a teen) has the initials EL. Her name was not released to the public because of her age and what happened to her.
