Piles and shafts are very different in how they are constructed. A deep arse hole that you fill with rebar and concrete is a drilled shaft and not a pile. If you mix those up it could be a huge frick up.

This ain't close to being pissy, this is trying to make heads or tails of what dude was talking about.

I'll just finish my Jimmy Johns and let yall have this one....need to prep an RFI about a pile drillin' rig being too close to an erosion control fence.

you sound just out of school... and full of shite.

Engineers call drilled shafts and auger cast PILES "piles" all of the time.
