I always wondered how one pulls this and similar length trails off?

Obviously, they are unemployed or "self employed/trust fund" kids.

I assume they are single or not in a meaningful relationship as well.

I haven't done anything long at all. One of the longer hikes I've done is Fairyland Loop in Bryce Canyon. Gay sounding trail but an awesome one. Only about 7.5 miles I think. Going do some more hiking in Utah in June in Capital Reef, Arches, and Canyonlands. Planning to do the Four Pass Loop next year.
