Just for the record, Ed O was the recruiting coordinator under Les Miles and had significant input on several classes prior to taking over as head coach.
There has been a lot of revisionist history around here on this point.

I understand that, but officially it wasn't his call. At the end of the day, Miles ultimately chose the direction they would go with recruiting. Ed's job, was to implement it.
IF you look close enough, you can clearly see that the approach Ed has is much different, and that management of the roster is also much different.
However, Ed is also failing at the QB position. And I honestly don't think he realizes the urgency involved.

the only revisionist history would be if someone believed the bullshite you just typed.
Eaux was hired at LSU as D-line coach in January of 2015. The 2015 signing day as always was on the 1st Wednesday in February. How much significant input does a DL coach get in 2 1/2 to 3 weeks?
Eaux was given the title of recruiting coordinator in January 2016 when Frank Wilson went to UTSA. Again, signing day is the 1st Wednesday in February. He was the RC for maybe 3 weeks. How much significant input does the RC have on players signed? How much significant input does the RC have after 3 whole weeks in that position?
Talk about revisionist history.
