There would be a #MeToo movement with crying kids all over the TV. It would be an example of toxic masculinity in American society and the idea of having males in leadership positions should be questioned.
Obviously I’m against a male teacher taking advantage of a student, it’s a crime. I’m simply trying to highlight the media’s eagerness to attack anything male while ignoring what doesn’t fit a narrative.
Funny thing is these teachers cases are criminal since they deal with minors, while in the film industry masculinity is demonized even a woman of age engages in consensual acts with a male thinking it’ll help her get a role.
One is made out to be an epidemic and an issue with the male sex in general, while the other made out to be isolated instances without much outrage.
