I’ve been to The Masters a few times, and this year we were invited to Berckmans Place at Augusta National. I know they have putting greens, but anyone know anything about it? Sounds like it will be fun.

Went last year and the food and drinks are unbelievable. It's a high end enhancement to the greatest sporting event. You won't believe how nice the facility is. Completely on par with the club house as far as luxury finishes.
Putting greens are so much fun and give you a great sense for the speed of the greens and the magnitude of the break.
Go to the seafood place upstairs for lunch. Saw at least 9 green jackets eating while we were up there including Gary player.
There is also totally different merchandise in Berckmans vs the regular tents, but you should visit both.

On some of the days they have Augusta caddies out on the greens that will read the breaks for you. Really cool to watch a pro hit a putt, and then have ability to hit the exact some putt within minutes on one of the replica greens.
Truly on another level when it comes to sporting event experiences.

Thanks for the tips. I’m excited about it. We weren’t planning to go this year (went the last 2 years), and then my wife got a call last week from a client asking if we wanted to go. It was a nice surprise to say the least.

Uhh yeah. Bring a ton of cash, you can buy apparel that is not offered at the public merchant tents.

I don’t think that I’ve ever gotten out of the main apparel shop for under $500.

Been 3-4 times. It’s awesome, Billy Payne came over and chatted with us while eating lunch. Food is incredible. They have Eisenhower’s bag in there. Lynn Swann usually greets you. Condi and Goodell are usually in there. Scotty Cameron was there the first time i went. The putting experience is great and worth the line. As many have said tthey have merchandise from the rest of the patrons. Really top notch - they have some one that cleans the urinals as soon as you done pissing in it. Seriously enjoy it - you’ll be rubbing it into your friends and not be able to explain it to people that have never been.
