And that's on both sides

yet you still maintain an elitist attitude with your concluding statement.

Education is becoming a tired meme

Education is very important. No doubt. The problem is that education doesn’t always teach those about the real world until the real world is actually experienced. I have both an undergraduate and graduate degree and STILL have a lot to learn in my field. With that being said, I know people who never even went to college who are still extremely successful in their careers because of work ethic. To me, that’s what is killing our education system....victimhood and entitlement....instead of earning that success. Take a look at some of our colleges today. Safe spaces? Are you freaking kidding me? How about challenging life face to face?
Yes, you may get a job in the real world with an education. But you’ll get run off the second your supervisor hurts your fee fees, and you go run into your safe space.

At least we agree on something.

Not sure how that makes me feel better, as I don't care one way or the other if you agree with my statement.

Nice generalization. As someone who works in higher education, I see plenty of people getting degrees that don't mean as much as I'd like them to mean. And no, every company in our capitalist society doesn't value it. There are many companies that take people without higher education and still pay fairly well. Anecdotally, I can point to several people without a college degree making close to six figures a year. At the same time, I can point to many, with a college degree, earning $35 or less. Again, the education meme is tired.
