Honest question, I'm younger and wasn't old enough back then, but wasn't Bo Jackson regarded in the same way in the NFL? Like if he hadn't had the bad injury he would have surely been a hall-of-fame running back?

I say this because I watched the 30 for 30 the other night and they pretty much made that assumption.

That is the case.

JJ has played in around 80 games and we’re debating if that’s long enough to get in. Bo played 38 and only had around 3000 total yards.

In terms of potential, sure. But Watt is a 3 time DPOY and a 4x 1st Team All-Pro. Bo made one pro bowl and never ran for a 1,000 yards or had more than 6 total TDs in a season. His production isn't in the same stratosphere as Watt's.
