As a kid tiger fan in Mississippi I remember reading the Jackson news paper. It was my only connection to tiger football back then. I read about Jeff Wickersham and Alan Risher, the Dalton-James gang and others. They are my first real memories of LSU football.
I have vague memories of hearing or reading about David Woodley and Charles Alexander. Always enjoyed that Woodley was the youngest qb to ever start a super bowl at least up until then. I recently read the story of his sad life after football and his untimely death. Sad but interesting story.
