A mistake of epic proportions by someone that overvalues themselves and surrounds themselves with yes men.

In no Universe that you play football in should you think going into spring training with 3 cb's active on the roster and 1 still in the doghouse per his coach is an acceptable thing.

The mistake is in the overall decision making and lack of balance in the class.

Even in the end the poster above is correct - when Goodrich says that he wants in you keep him on the phone and have another coach call Foster and tell him that he needs to commit or his spot is gone. If he commits you got the qb you said you wanted barring a late flip that you can not control. If he does not commit you take Goodrich and move on.

The Head Coach has to maintain control of the things that he can control.

Coach O did not.
Simple as that.

All the whinning about Surtain etc and the other crap that LSU is feeding reporters is nothing more that deflection tactics to try appease whatever part of the fan base they can appease.

Pointing the finger at Alabama and the Surtain's is easy because most of the LSU fan base rightfully can not stand Alabama. The real issue is beating Alabama outcoaching Alabama and outrecruiting Alabama which We/Coach O have failed to do so far.

Own it in order to Fix it.

Not confident that Coach O can do it because he appears to be emotionally based and reactionary.

We will see.

My hope is that he can.

I don't give a rats arse what the coaches name is or where he is from or the players either for that matter.
I am an LSU alumni and LSU Fan not a Coach O fan or qb X fan.
Do your jobs as coaches and players win your positions and play like you care putting the Team first.
