Brees is not going anywhere and if this season did plenty to show that Brees has still got it and actually does not have to throw 40 times a game to be successful.

I'm not sure that we had our whole offensive line during the whole season and if we did they were not healthy.

Maybe that is the key. Use your 1st round pick on the best player available for defense probably, add some key pieces in free agency and then use 3rd-7th round to get quality backups and future starters on the OL.

If this season has shown anything it is that you need quality OL players.

Exactly. And I hate to say it, but drafting a LT in the 1st rd. to protect Brees might be a good idea. Why? Because Armstead is very good, but very injured as well. I thought drafting Ramczyk in rd.1 was a mistake. Look how that worked out for us. He’s as solid as a rock. Unger desperately needs a backup at center to boot. All of these moves could extend Drew’s career. Protect your Super Bowl MVP QB and he will deliver for several more years. Defensively, the Saints have found good players in the later rounds and the number of defenders returning from IR is like getting 2 or 3 full draft classes. Saints are in a good position moving forward. Keep drafting and playing young players on rookie contracts and you can’t go wrong. If Mayfield falls in our lap, I would have to take him. Other than that, O-line, TE,WR, DE,LB,DB. Who Dat!
